Hi, I'm Afrin 👋
I recently completed my MS by Research at CMInDS, IIT Bombay, where I had the privilege of working with Prof. Sunita Sarawagi on in-context learning, and the design and adaptation of foundation models for time series. Our work on instance-level adaptation for forecasting with covariates has been accepted at CIKM 2025. I was also fortunate to collaborate with Dr. Praneeth Netrapalli, where our joint work on in-context learning was presented at the ICML 2024 TF2M Workshop.
I'm currently seeking research opportunities as a Research Assistant or Intern to explore new directions. I'm especially interested in improving architecture designs, adaptation techniques for improving generalization and reliability under uncertainty, and reasoning. I would also like to explore post-training and alignment. If you're hiring, I'd love to hear from you 🙂
